Imagine being physically active—until MS starts taking away strength and severely limiting movement…
For persons with progressed multiple sclerosis, exercise and even just moving become daily challenges. Yet physical activity is so helpful in managing many MS symptoms. Plus it’s good for mental health and emotional well-being.
That’s where the MS Achievement Center comes in!
When individuals with progressed MS participate in the MSAC’s unique wellness program, they are connected with health experts who guide them in maximizing their ability to move and engage in activities of daily living, including exercise.
The MSAC provides health resources and activities specialized to each person’s needs. Participants are led through safe exercise routines and guided in using specially designed equipment. The MSAC team helps them stay active which improves:
MS has taken away so much from our MSAC participants, but you can give them the gift of movement and safe exercise. You can increase their strength, improve their independence, connect them with people who understand what they’re going through.
Members pay a small monthly fee for the MSAC's community-based wellness program—a fraction of the actual cost. We do not bill insurance and receive no federal or state assistance. Our primary source of funding is individual donors. Financial gifts from individuals like you are critical to our ability to offer this program.
You can give individuals with progressed MS a place where they connect with health experts who guide and support them as they face the challenges and changes caused by MS. You can give them a place where they belong, where they are valued, where they are connected with people who care.
Collaborate with a member as they work to maintain their independence.
