Saddle Up, Jayhawks!
The Equestrian Team at KU (KUET) is a group that has been dedicated to the love of horses and horse-related sports since 2004. The KUET strives to connect people with similar interests in horses at the University of Kansas community. We bring a unique diversity to campus and are always striving to increase the impact we have on campus. All ability levels and disciplines are welcomed! The KUET exists to provide all currently enrolled KU students the opportunity to develop valuable horseback riding skills, show at a local level, and compete in the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA). At IHSA shows throughout the year, riders compete against other riders from colleges in the area hoping to ear a spot to show at regionals and nationals where they would be competing against top riders in the nation.
The KUET also provides members with the chance to bond with other student organizations and sports clubs through community service activities and volunteering in the Lawrence community. Any donations that we receive will be put toward lessons and showing expenses. By reducing these expenses for our members, we can allow them to participate in more team events and have a bigger impact on the community.
Make a gift today to support KUET and dedicated students to continue to pursue their passions and interests in the equine sports and shows!
