As our campaign comes to an end, we want to thank everyone who has helped us out by either sharing or donating to our fund. We cannot be more grateful than we are already for the network of people that support us constantly. Our campaign as of now is a little over 30% funded and all of this will help out our future riders.
What is new with the team!
The team traveled to Northern Illinois University in Dekalb, IL for the last regular IHSA show of the season. Senior Brianna Butler qualified for regionals in Open Fences. Sophomore Hannah Miller also qualified in both Novice Flat and Novice Fences as well as placing first in two of her classes out of a competitive pool of riders. Junior Angela Garza competed in her first IHSA show and had good rides in both her classes.
Beginning April 7th, the team will be headed to Missouri State University in Springfield to support Brianna and Hannah at regionals. We wish them the best of luck and we can't wait to cheer them on! Rock chalk!
Thanks again for all your support!
Thanks to all the people that are helping us reach our goals! We had a fundraising dinner at McAllister’s Deli this week and would like to thank everyone who showed up to support us.
Team Update:
This weekend we will be heading to the KHJA show at the Topeka Expocenter in Topeka, KS. This show will provide the team members an excellent showing experience as a practice for our upcoming IHSA Shows at the end of March.
Our campaign has been running for a week! We’ve raised almost 10% of our goal at this point and are very grateful to everyone that has donated. Help us keep the momentum going by spreading the word about our project with friends and alumni!
Here’s an update on what we’ve been up to…..
This week the team has a practice ride, which will help us prepare for our upcoming shows at NIU and Regionals and Zones at Missouri State. Last weekend team members went and volunteered at the Kansas Equifest helping out with wristband checks and arena prep for demos.
Your gift will help to provide riding equipment and safety gear to KUET.
Your gift will cover the transportation of show horses to shows for a show year.
