The Lied Center of Kansas serves the University of Kansas and the greater community by presenting world-class performing arts events and providing free education opportunities for pre-schoolers through adults.
Our mission is to be an equitable, inclusive and enjoyable environment for everyone.
In honor of our 25th Anniversary, we are raising funds to install a hearing loop in the main auditorium so our patrons with T-coil hearing aids will be able to have comfortable and positive performing arts experiences. For people with hearing aids, it can be extremely difficult to hear and comprehend performances in large venues because of extraneous noises, reverberation and more, which leads to a very frustrating experience. Hearing-loop technology eliminates these issues and delivers clear sound straight to the user’s hearing aid.
