Support the Omega Phi Alpha Service Award

Omega Phi Alpha is the only service sorority at the University of Kansas. Our three core values are friendship, leadership, and service. Each semester, actives participate in four chapter wide service events that benefit: the university community, the community-at-large, the members of the sorority, and the nations of the world. We are a diverse, inclusive, and dedicated sorority made up of roughly 70 passionate individuals.

As a yearly tradition, the Kansas chapter chooses one active member who demonstrates leadership and service to the KU community and beyond and gifts them a $500 award to help with school expenses. The recipient is chosen by our chapter scholarship chair and their committee. This chosen person exemplifies all core values of Omega Phi Alpha; friendship, leadership, and service. We believe this award is important, and should continue for years to come, because it helps lessen the impact of rising tuition, and allows the active to focus on their studies.

The Kansas chapter of OPA, would love to start a fund specifically for these student awards. Please consider supporting dedicated students by ensuring this award for years to come.
