Our Mission Statement: Our purpose is to serve as an online newspaper that provides an independent voice for residents in the city of Eudora, Kansas. We share human interest stories about the community and provide coverage of local government agencies while asking questions that hold them accountable.

The initial money raised will be used to support the expenses of our reporting team, to pay for our news website, and to launch a podcast featuring community members making unique contributions to Eudora. 

This news initiative provides real world reporting experience to students in the Journalism School while also providing news coverage to a city that hasn't had its own newspaper for several years.
