This campaign has concluded, but if you would like to still make a gift to support the Lacy Internship Assistance Program, please click here.
Since taking the lead as Director of the Robert J. Dole Institute of Politics in 2004, Bill Lacy has created world-class political programming with a bipartisan approach, keeping us entertained and informed. Over the years, he has welcomed world leaders, civil rights champions, political practitioners, esteemed scholars, and prominent journalists to the Dole Institute.
Invited by Senator Dole to lead and shape the Institute, he’s drawn upon his contacts and experience, serving as President Ronald Reagan’s political director and playing a major role in seven presidential campaigns. Under Bill’s direction, the Institute has developed an engaging student-oriented culture that provides countless opportunities for civically minded KU students.
Through an existing donation from Chuck and Diane Frickey, the Lacy Internship Assistance Program was created to provide students with financial assistance for experiential learning opportunities to offset the travel and living expenses associated with internships.
Thanks to the generosity of a group of donors we have $20,000 in matching gifts to this campaign, allowing each gift up to that amount to be matched dollar for dollar!!!
Please consider making a gift to further Bill’s legacy and provide essential support for student learning opportunities beyond the classroom.
