African Trauma Initiative

Every gift matters and all funds will be used for different aspects of the African Trauma initiative, including: 

1. Purchasing lifesaving and life-changing medical equipment and orthopedic implants

2. Funding the training of African surgeons to develop the necessary skills to provide state-of-the-art trauma care

3. Funding of healthcare providers and medical students to conduct research to better improve trauma care in Africa

Is my gift tax deductible?

KU Endowment is a 501(c)(3) organization and gifts are tax-deductible within the limitations of U.S. federal income tax laws. The IRS accepts the email receipt that you will receive upon completion of your gift as documentation of deductibility. May I mail a donation?

Checks should be made payable to KU Endowment with LaunchKU and the name of the project you are supporting in the check memo line.
