Submit a Project Idea!

LaunchKU is a crowdfunding initiative by KU Endowment that aims to help students, faculty and staff at the University of Kansas raise funds for projects and passions that uplift and inspire the mission of the University of Kansas- impacting all Jayhawks! 

You will need four key things to succeed in your crowdfunding campaign:

  • Project and story that touches donors' hearts
  • Specific and achievable financial goal ($2,000-$8,000)
  • Campaign leader with a strong time commitment
  • Followers you can ask to donate and spread the word

We’re excited to assist you and your team in reaching your fundraising goal. Please complete the application to be considered for a LaunchKU project. Campaigns are accepted outside of cycles on a case-by-case basis. Please provide as much information as possible to help staff assess whether your project qualifies for the LaunchKU platform.

To be eligible, you must have either an existing fund at KU Endowment or be a 
Rock Chalk Central registered student organization with a SOFAS account.

Important Dates for STUDENT Projects: 

  • Applications due: March 7, 2025
  • Content due: March 21, 2025
  • Project sites go live: March 31, 2025

Student Project Applications are due March 7 to fundraise from March 31 - May 2, 2025.
