African Trauma Initiative

Every gift matters and all funds will be used for different aspects of the African Trauma initiative, including: 

1. Purchasing lifesaving and life-changing medical equipment and orthopedic implants

2. Funding the training of African surgeons to develop the necessary skills to provide state-of-the-art trauma care

3. Funding of healthcare providers and medical students to conduct research to better improve trauma care in Africa

Is my gift tax deductible?

KU Endowment is a 501(c)(3) organization and gifts are tax-deductible within the limitations of U.S. federal income tax laws. The IRS accepts the email receipt that you will receive upon completion of your gift as documentation of deductibility. Checks should be made payable to KU Endowment with LaunchKU and the name of the project you are supporting in the check memo line.
