Let me first start off by a long overdue thank you to all the donors for your outstanding donation to the memorial garden.

Today, 4/26/2017, was the first day of planting the garden. So without further adieu, please enjoy the pictures and know that the garden will be done. I will make sure we upload more pictures when it gets closer to completion!

Friends, neighbors, and members of the KU Medical Center student body,

You did it!  What an outpouring of love and generosity! We are so touched by this heartfelt endeavor and your continued love and support. We can’t wait until the day we get to stroll through this beautiful garden, and to have a place to remember Blake and feel his presence. I’m sure he is shaking his head and rolling his eyes with so much attention, but also flashing that memorable smile and beaming with pride. KU was his home away from home, and each one of you were and are his family.   

Thank you again for all of your love. We will see you in the garden!

The Exposito Family

On behalf of the University of Kansas Medical Center student body, February 28th the student body voted to donate $1,000 to help fund the memorial for Joseph Blake Exposito. Since this donation was made on behalf of the entire student body, there is no donation update to the website and the quantity has been distributed directly to the account. This puts the total amount raised so far to $6,940! We are very moved with the momentous support that has been expressed to build this memorial. As this drive comes to an end within a few days, I want to thank everyone who has donated and who plans to donate.

Greetings to all of our donors, family and friends. First and foremost, we would like to thank all of you for the generous outpouring of love and support you have shown towards our project. It took only 2 short days to raise the $5,000 dollars we needed, making this the fastest project that the LaunchKU platform has ever seen. We could not have done this without each and every one of you. Now that we have met our goal, we have decided that we will continue raising money until our month is over. Henceforth, any money that we raise past our $5,000 goal will be used to expand Blake’s garden. We will soon be updating the page with a message from Blake’s family so please be on the look out! Once again, we would like to thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for making this campaign such a huge success.
