On behalf of the entire organizing committee, we are extremely excited to share that we have met and exceed our fundraising goal of $3,000 for the LaunchKU campaign! This money will be used to fund a significant portion of the SEARCH symposium on April 21. The symposium is going to help connect area graduate students in STEM fields with industry professionals, as well as provide an opportunity to hear from professionals in a wide variety of fields and industries who will be speaking at the event. Without all of your help, this event would not be possible. We want to express a very large THANK YOU to all of our donors and anyone who has helped spread the word of our event.

Hi everyone! 

On behalf of the MB and EEB GSO's, we want to thank all of the donors who have contributed to our event so far. We are 78% of the way towards our funding goal, and only $640 away from reaching our $3,000 goal! This money will help purchase necessary items for the event, cover travel for out-of-town speakers, and allow us to open registration to more students who are interested in non-academic careers in the STEM fields. We are incredibly thankful to those who have donated, and would like to encourage you all to share our campaign with co-workers or anyone you feel might be interested in helping fund our symposium. Without your support, our event would not be possible. 

We just want to let all of our donors know how thankful we are for the donations, and that our symposium would not be possible without your help. As an update, we are over 50% funded towards our $3,000 goal! We do still need to raise $1,400, and could use your help! If you are comfortable doing so, please share our project with friends, family, or coworkers who might be interested in learning more about our symposium or possibly donating.

We are incredibly excited to announce that in only one week, you have helped us raise $800 towards our symposium! This is a fantastic start to our fundraising campaign, but we still have a long ways to go. We wouldn't have made the progress so far without the help from some incredible donors as well as people spreading this fundraising campaign to coworkers, friends, etc. If you know of anyone who may be interested in helping young scientists learn about alternative careers, please pass our campaign along!
