Update 1

October 29, 2018

We have finally broke ground on our site!

After many weeks of going back and forth on design on ideas, we have finalized almost everything and have made a lot of progress in the last two weeks. We have poured half of our concrete and are setting up forms to pour the second half next week. For the seating, we have created steel forms to go underneath the concrete seats that keep them from wobbling. We are currently welding these so we can get them put in place soon. For the canopy, we are still working with the engineer to finalize the structure but have begun digging out the space where it will be placed and will be pouring the footings and the concrete next week. We have also been laser cutting some prototypes for the information board in the canopy. We are so close to completing everything and will have more pictures and updates to come!
