Lied Center & USD 497: 25 Years in Harmony
The Lied Center of Kansas serves as a catalyst for the arts, creativity and engagement by presenting world-class performing arts and experiences for preschoolers through adults. Integrating the arts into the lives of the next generation is at the core of our mission, and we are proud to partner with Lawrence Public Schools in providing free arts experiences to all students in the district each year. To commemorate the Lied Center's 25-year partnership with Lawrence Public Schools, we are raising funds for a unique and interactive art experience for local elementary school students and teachers to collaborate with a renowned visual artist. The result—a stunning art installation in the Lied Center representing the artistic expressions of each student blended together. Students will have a blast while learning about collaboration and creative expression! The community will also enjoy the colorful and energizing displays throughout the Lied Center lobby once completed. Please consider a donation to help celebrate this important community partnership. Your gift will also count towards your Friends of the Lied donor level.
