Capitol Federal Hall will open May 7 and Fall 2016 will be the first full semester in the new building. I have so many memories of the interview process and this is a great way for our Chicago alums to help out. Hiring KU grads strengthens the School and also grows our alumni group in Chicago. Chicago is home to many KU alumni and we are raising funds to name an interview room to recognize this group’s involvement in funding the building and hiring graduates.
If your company goes to campus for interviews, you’ll be able to request use of the Chicago Alumni Room as your space for the day. Won’t that be cool? If you are interviewer, you will have a personal story to tell the students. The interview room will be on the first floor of the building and easily accessible to any Chicago Alumni who visit and wish to see the space. The room will be named the Chicago Alumni Interview Room and a plaque listing all donors of $250 or more will be included in the room.
This $70.5-million-dollar project is funded entirely on private dollars, meaning the participation of our dedicated alumni is essential to our success. Please consider leaving a gift of $500, $250 or $100 so that future Jayhawks have the ability to engage, learn and thrive in a dynamic and innovative environment. Of course we will graciously accept any size donation!
