Roger Stoner Trumpet Scholarship

Students of Professor Stoner, in concert with the KU School of Music, wish to offer a scholarship in his name to a deserving trumpet student. Our original goal was to raise $5,000 and give an annual award of $1,000 over the next five years. The gratitude shared in Roger’s behalf grew to the point that we can now set our sights on make this a lasting tribute, An endowed scholarship goes on in perpetuity and requires $50,000. This fund now grows to honor both Roger and his fellow musicians in the KU Brass Quintet.
