Advancing Simulation Education in Salina

Simulation-education on the KU Medical Center – Salina campus will increase the opportunities for our current and future health-care providers to practice working in teams in a variety of situations, as they will when caring for patients. The KU Salina campus is seeking to add a high-fidelity OB-GYN manikin (a full-body manikin with the ability to mimic, at a very high level, human body functions) for the hospital simulation room, which will allow medical and nursing students to develop more in-depth skills before directly interacting with actual patients.

Please consider a gift for this important equipment. All donations received will impact generations of students and healthcare providers who will use it to learn and train and, in turn, improve health outcomes of OB-GYN patients across Kansas and rural America.

Double the impact of your gift today! Every dollar you give – up to $35,000 – will be matched by a private donor’s commitment to help achieve the $70,000 budget for this new equipment.
