KU School of Pharmacy Students to Host 2024 SNPhA Regional Conference for the First Time

The University of Kansas School of Pharmacy is thrilled to announce that Kansas City, Missouri has been chosen as the next city to host the 2024 SNPhA Regions III, IV, and V Conference! SNPhA is composed of pharmacy students committed to serving underserved populations in the community. They are involved in numerous outreach events to educate the community on better health practices and to increase awareness and understanding of chronic diseases. 

Each year, SNPhA hosts regional meetings throughout the nation to bring together over ninety local chapters. On March 29-30, 2024, the KU Student National Pharmaceutical Association (SNPhA) chapter will welcome and host over 200 healthcare professionals and students. The conference will include events such as: 

• Student workshops and networking
• Continuing Education sessions for active professionals
• Guest speaker lectures
• Clinical skills competition

Attendees also take part in the awards dinner, where chapters and members are honored with scholarships for their successes in outreach and advocacy in SNPhA, overall healthcare endeavors and leadership.

Our student members and parent organization, National Pharmaceutical Association (NPhA), make every effort to help prevent, assist and manage these diseases and other conditions in the most effective manner to ease access to healthcare. Our initiatives include but are not limited to: Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), Diabetes Mellitus, HIV/AIDS, Hypertension & Stroke, Immunizations and Legislative Affairs. 

The University of Kansas School of Pharmacy SNPhA team will host more than half of the U.S. for this conference.
