Women Philanthropists for KU

The Women Philanthropists for KU are raising funds to support cancer research, cancer patients and cancer survivors. Funds raised will be divided among the cancer research team and Missys’ Boutique, a one-stop retail store for cancer patients.

The KU Cancer Center is one of the nation’s leading cancer centers and the region’s only National Cancer Institute-Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center. Funds raised will support research into better treatments and cures for cancer, providing hope for patients and their families.

Missys’ Boutique provides cancer patients and survivors the opportunity to restore their dignity, build their self-confidence and reclaim their self-image. Working with a licensed professional, these patients can access services and select products created just for them, such as wigs, specialty garments, make-up, and more. Funds for Missys’ Boutique will assist patients and survivors who require financial assistance for these products and services.
