Over the past three weeks, we have seen our SPAA community and beyond show up to support Courageous Conversations for the Public Sphere. From alumni to faculty to past presenters, we have witnessed the depths of generosity and commitment to furthering the public good. Help us continue to spread the word this Public Service Recognition Week (May 5-May 11) by honoring the contributions of the people who serve our nation as federal, state, county, local, and tribal government employees. 

Thank you to everyone who helped us kick off week one of our campaign to raise funds for SPAA's Courageous Conversations for the Public Sphere Conversation! We are blown away by the continued generosity of SPAA friends, alumni, staff/faculty, and students. Don't forget to share this effort with your networks as a primary goal of this initiative is to serve the public sphere which goes beyond our SPAA community and the KU Campus! We thank you for your support and can't wait to see where we are in three weeks, Rock Chalk!

Once again, we are blown away this Monday by the generosity and dedication of our SPAA community. Not only are we 27% of the way towards our goal of 40 donors we have raised nearly $1,500 for our Courageous Conversations for the Public Sphere initiative. We are so energized by the engagement we have experienced the first two weeks of this fundraising effort and look forward to the culmination of these efforts during Public Service Recognition Week (PSRW) next week, May 5-May 11. Let's keep it going!!
