BullDogs Cooks, a student-led initiative at Wyandotte High School, works to combat food insecurity by providing students with nutritious ingredients and essential culinary education. The program includes the BullDogs Freezer, which offers high-quality proteins, fruits, and vegetables to students in need. Additionally, BullDogs Cooks empowers students through nutrition education campaigns, including engaging TikTok content and in-school awareness efforts.
With donor support, the program will expand its efforts to stock the BullDogs Freezer with fresh, healthy food and provide resources for students to make informed dietary choices. Funding will also enable the development of educational materials and social media outreach to amplify the impact. By increasing access to nutritious foods and equipping students with health knowledge, BullDogs Cooks creates sustainable, long-term improvements in dietary behavior, health literacy, and food security.
Your support will help foster a healthier future for students and their families while setting a model for community-driven solutions to food insecurity.
