We are coming into the homestretch for our fundraising campaign. THANK YOU to everyone that has donated to the cause! If possible, please share our campaign info with others if you haven't done so already as the campaign will end on Monday, May 15th.
In preparation for finals, Watkins Health Services hosted several Stress Busting Study Breaks featuring therapy dogs within the last week. A total of 4 events were held at Watson and Anschutz Libraries (they have been our partners since we began with the therapy dogs in 2013...AWESOME!). Another event was held at the School of Engineering. All events engaged hundreds of students that were able to interact with a dog as well as grab a healthy snack and stress management kits. Here's to our students...Finish Strong!
Just want to thank you all for your generous donations! Have a great weekend!
Our last Pause 4 Pups event for this semester will be Wednesday, April 26th from 8–9 pm at Crawford Community Center. For more info, click here. Stress Busting Study Breaks are scheduled prior to finals week so check out the schedule.
THANK YOU for kick starting our campaign! This campaign is so exciting for KU students with all the possibilities with the therapy dogs. Please share information about our campaign on your Facebook page, Twitter account, email, or any way you can. Thanks again for your support!
Every gift of $25 covers the costs of providing therapy dogs for a 30 minute classroom visit. Our goal is to expand programming such that we could visit at least one class each month.
Every gift of $50 covers the costs of providing therapy dogs for students to visit at Watkins Health Center for one hour. Our goal is to expand programming such that we could offer this opportunity once a month.
A gift of $100 covers the costs of providing therapy dogs at campus events for two hours. KU's campus is constantly buzzing with different events and we want to expand programming so that we can keep up.
Every gift of $250 would allow us to be more responsive to student organizations who want the therapy dogs to come to their event. These dogs are practically celebrities on campus, they're in such high demand!
