Our Goal: Advance adult stem cell therapy to improve human health.
The Midwest Stem Cell Therapy Center was established in 2013 with the goal of making adult stem cell therapies available to patients. Driven by the absence of FDA-approved stem cell treatments available, the Center has developed a three-pronged approach to meet its key objective. This includes:
WHY is it so important to advance adult stem cell therapy?
With regenerative adult stem cells, our bodies have the power to heal themselves. Every day, they function in our body as a repair kit. Here at the Center, we are committed to taking it further, making adult stem cells an important tool in medicine. Imagine, being able to repair your own damaged heart tissue following a heart attack!
Research Efforts
In our research collaborations, we are expanding adult stem cells and then evaluating them to see how they apply to a specific disease or condition. Through these and other efforts we are working towards a single goal: To advance stem cell therapy to improve human health.
To learn about specific research efforts, check out our Updates here. To see how we are applying stem cell therapy to a specific disease, Graft-versus-Host-Disease, check out our video.
Here’s where we need your help.
In order for a treatment to become FDA-approved and available to the general population, we must first conduct rigorous multi-phase clinical trials. While necessary in order to determine the treatment is safe and effective, these trials can be costly.
Support the Future of Medicine. An investment in adult stem cell therapy research is an investment in the future of patient treatment.

Purchases cell culture items needed to isolate stem cells from a tissue source
Allows us to isolate stem cells from one umbilical cord
Allows us to establish a “banked” cell source for future study
Allows us to harvest 60 million stem cells (we need 1200M stem cells)
Allows us to double the number of clinical grade stem cells available – we need 10 doublings per umbilical cord
